Clog Woes!
Our team responded to a clogged manhole in a neighborhood, and let’s just say it wasn’t caused by toilet paper. Here is a photo of some of what our crew pulled out. After flushing the line to clear the clog, all of the non-flushable items that were backed up flowed through to a pump station, causing issues there as well.
The sewer system is not a trash can – please only flush toilet paper and human waste. Wipes of any kind, feminine hygiene products, grease, food scraps, paper towels, etc. cause clogs, equipment damage, costly repairs, and messy backups.
